Techniques to Calm and Relax Me


1. 4-Code Words: Think about 4 words that make you smile, help you relax, and bring a peace to your mind and heart. Write them down. Now repeat the words slowly as you breathe deeply in and out. Next time you feel fear, worry, anxious ... repeat these words out loud or silently to yourself until you feel yourself relax.

Example: Beach - Bubbles - Sand - Sun


2. Positive Affirmations & Positive Self-Talk: Say positive and kind words to yourself. Remember that what you are feeling is a natural response. Your body is trying to protect you. Learn to respect yourself and be patient with yourself in the moment. Use words or phrases like these:

 I am ok.

My body is protecting me.

This is only temporary.

I am safe.

I am a strong woman who can get through anything.

Today I will relinquish my fear and worry to the universe where it will be dealt with accordingly.

I don't need to be fearful anymore.

I don't need to worry anymore.

I have been provided all the strength and tools I need to overcome this situation.

I have decided to make my own choices and take charge of this situation. 

I will allow myself to enjoy each moment.

I am a beautiful, knowledgeable, and intuitive woman.

I will use my experiences to teach and help others.

Out of every negative situation, a positive lesson can be learned and shared in the future.

3. Count & Breathe: Take deep breaths through your nose and mouth and count up and back to 5. Try this five times. 

4. Thumb Tap: Tap each finger to your thumb. Start with your pinky finger. Tap each finger on both hands to your thumb then go backwards starting with your pointer. Take deep slow breaths each time. Practice 5x.

5. Tighten & Relax: Relax your body from your head to your toes. Starting with your forehead ... crinkle/scrunch your forehead like you are angry, hold for a moment then relax. Now squeeze your eyes shut tightly for a moment. Now let them relax closed or open. Now clench your jaw tightly. Pressing your teeth together. Now relax. Push your lips together. Now relax. Hold your fists firmly, then relax your hands stretching all of your fingers out as far as they will stretch, now relax your hands and shake them out gently. Use your body and NOT your hands ... squeeze your thighs and butt tightly then relax. Curl your toes to the sole of your foot and relax.

6. Soothing Keepsake: Keep an object, symbol, or picture close by (in your purse or in your car). Take it out, squeeze it, touch it, hold it, look at it until you feel yourself relax.

7. Opposite-Thought Talk: Say what you are thinking. Then try to think of and say the opposite.

Example:

THOUGHT: I am never going to get out of this mess.
OPPOSITE-TALK: I know this is only temporary and it will pass.

How to manifest

I've been asked on several occassions steps one can do to incorporate a daily manifesting ritual (inbetween new moons and full moons.) It's ideal to harness the moon energy to manifest in your life. However, one can do this at any time. To give a brief explaination. New Moons are a time of new beginnings and starting your manifest journey the full moon is when things that you wished to manifest either happened or you reinstill what you sent out to the universe. I have two sets of manifesting guides for New Moons and Full Moons up in previous articles.

Energy leading up to the New Moon is the strongest to visualize the things you want to come into your life. This is the time to start planning. Since we just had a Full Moon we are moving into a waxing moon which is when the energy is being built up and you can be getting inspired for change. If we have just had a New Moon the energy is called wanning and its not as powerful and advised to manifest but there's not as strong power so don't get discouraged if it takes longer for it to be or you have to affirm it at the Full Moon.

Things when first planning what it is you want to manifest.


1. Wait until you have clarity before you call upon the universe to help you
realize your dreams and desires. When your requests are ill-defined, the answers you had hoped for can be vague and the fulfillments just off the mark. Being non-specific in your intentions requests could result in unexpected and possibly even unpleasant surprises.

2.  Think really hard about what it is you want down to the specifics before you write anything down. Also remember thoughts has energy so even your thoughts brings you on your road to manifesting. Any intention that is mentally focused on, voiced out loud, or written down on paper; carries power. That intention is increased if it's infused with reiki.

3. Check when the next New Moon or Full Moon is on a calender.

4. Materials: a notebook, a pen, incense, candle, newspaper/magazines/pictures, scissors, glue/tape, non-lyric music.


5. Light incense to cleanse space and bring harmony. Or light a scented candle that makes you feel calm.

6. Play some calm peaceful music (with no lyrics).

7. Sit in a quiet place and quiet the mind and just focus on your breathe.

Bringing your legs either in a cross position, lotus, (on the floor) or sit in a chair with no arms or legs crossed. Place your hands palm up near your knees and just focus on your breath. Do this for about five minutes each breathe becoming deeper and letting thoughts passed as clouds. The point is to become calm with little distractions, if you do become distracted try to keep the deep breathe while you get up to take care of something. Return back to your calm space. 


8. After meditation gather your supplies. Drink a cup of chamomile or mint tea or any tea that makes you calm if you still need a bit more help settling. The point is to be as clear and open as possible so when you begin you are not stressed. Here, you don't want to be negative or stressed because that gets marked to your manifest intentions which can make it slower to come back to you.


Setting your Intentions into Motion with journaling
1. Open your notebook and date it. Write down these (or similar words):

    "I accept these things into my life now or something better for my highest good and for the highest good of all concerned." Below your intention statement, begin to write down a list of all your desires. Your list may consist of only one item, or you may have several pages written down. Do not limit your list of items. Continually add other items to your list as often as you wish. If possessing many things in your life makes you happy and content, you should not deny yourself these things by limiting your requests.


2. Close your notebook and put it away until the next day or time you decide to manifest where you will reopen it and rededicate it. 

*Make a Vision Board
This is a very simple and creative way to visually get down on paper images of things you want to manifest. There are no rules, you just need magazines, pictures, markers, pen, scissors, glue and poster board or just a sheet of paper. Look through magazines for instance to just anything that calls to you or look for specific things you had on your list. If you don't find anything to represent what you have envisioned just draw it yourself or write it out. This process is decide and declare those desires to the universe through visual means. Arrange it any way that makes you happy. You can hang it up on your wall after so that you are reminded of the things you wish to manifest.

*Make a Manifesting List
Take out your list from earlier this week. On a piece of paper write down "I Manifest..." at the top of the paper. Next write down all that you desire (this is key write it in the present tense) keep writing until you can't think of anything else. Don't worry if its just words, sentences, there's no rules to what it needs to sound like. As a thought comes in write it down in whatever form it comes. Some like to put this completed list under their pillow at night or put it at an alter. 

*Candle Ritual
You will need a candle- typical color is white (although you can use different colors).

You will write words or symbols of the things that you desire onto the candle. Next hold the candle in both hands and visualize yourself having all these things and enjoying having them. Visualize this desire going into the candle. For me I feel the energy transfer from me to the candle. Continue to do this until you feel the energy has stopped flowing from you to the candle. Once you feel ready, light the candle and allow it to burn down completely. During this process, as the candle burns its transmitting your desire into the universe. (Do not leave a candle unattended, if it blows out if your outside just relight it, if you have to extinguish it Do Not blow it out use a snuffer instead). 

*Meditate
Visualizing holds so much energy to mediate to

become calm, mindful and still. You can mediate by yourself in a sacred space at home or connect with like-minded people for a group mediation. 

*Crystals
If you already use crystals you can use them during any of these activities listed above. Which we sell at our Padma Bella Store.

*Gratitude 

Seal all or any of these with a prayer of gratitude to and Universe. You can create your own words an example is: Universe I am grateful for your presence and I am joyful to be with you again. Be with me now and sign your light and love upon my desires. May your energy assist with the manifestation that occurs will be for the highest good of all concerned. And so it is! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Namaste.  



You may choose to do one or all of these, or mix it up daily. The main part is to end each day with stating things you are grateful for. You may not see manifesting happen right away. With time when the universe finds it the right time these things will be. I've had experiences where I kept at it, I didn't see immediate results. Start out and vary with small things, like I want to see a butterfly today to something as major as "I want to own my own house and be married" The small manifesting is a way to get validation that the universe is hearing you. The bigger stuff can take time to come into your life. Never get discourage. Ever! The more you believe and just the knowing it will happen brings this air of confidence to you, which will help you have a better day and bring your frequency up and this gets sent out to the universe and positive will be attracted to you.

If anything else try to journal you can have a manifest journal and a gratidute journal where you write all that you are thankful for that happened in the day or week.

Full Blue Moon August 20, 2013


Tuesday, August 20, 2013 we will have a "seasonal blue moon." This is the third of four Full Moons in a season, which has not happened in nearly three years, EarthSky reports. This year the Full Moon will peak at 9:45pm (ET) and 6:45pm (PT) which means at or after those times are when you will want to do your manifesting rituals. If you haven't ever done one, its suggested you at least try it (nothing could happen or something could happen). Below will be a guide of how to do a manifest ritual to the full moon.

Leo Sun and Aquarius Moon
This Blue Moon occurs when the Leo Sun opposes the Moon in Aquarius. Everything we set in motion in manifestation at the New Moon will be culmination and promise of fulfillment during this time. We will want to be mindful of emotions as its an emotional time involving: romance, fertilization, and relationships. 


The Leo Sun brings our individualizm out wanting to be proud of who we are and not just fade into the crowd. While the Aquarius Moon gives us some more independence and wanting to be individualistic while still being in a team. So naturally there will be a sense of conflict between these two forces. Notedbly there may be some new outbursts during this time, don't worry so much if they don't seem rational yet (they will soon be) just go with the flow.





Transition Sun into Virgo

The Sun will be changing into Virgo starting on August 22 and remain until September 22. Since we've been looking at the big picture of what it is we want to manifest now we get to focus on the fine details. The practical concerns get to be delt with finally and focusing on the everyday life will releave us from stress. Get organized, become detail oriented and improve communications at work; will help tremendously as we set up for the next New Moon. Here we are organizing and tieing up what we set in motion in our last New Moon. 



Venus in Libra 
Many of us are interested in how this affects our romance and relationships. Venus is now in Libra which begain August 16 and goes until September 11. This is a digified sign since Venus rules Libra. There's a sense of "home" feeling which bring us to wanting balance and harmony. This cycle we can often just be in love with the idea of love. So beware of what you are feeling. If you have a close partner in your life and are seeking to have a balanced relationship, you may be bringing more charm rather than aggressive behavior to get where you want to go. However, despite being so pro-relationships during this cycle we are feeling a cool level of detachment in energy. We will be good with negotiating and compromising with others. This also relates to how we view love we may be now viewing a love relationship in an idealistic manner. Aggressive behavior turns us off and want to do things "right" if that means detaching during this time, so be it. The negative side of this is a sense of feeling depedent, inconsistant, and superficial to avoid unpleasant situations. Instead of wanting to rock the boat we may try to jump over any issues in relationships. This will not be helpful its best to face it head on and no recent your partner if you don't voice your concern. 

While Venus is in Libra it is a new cycle in your life involving romance and social interaction. You will be seaking harmony, refinement, elegance, ideal partnership, the perfect balance, the highest standards of truth and beauty. 


August 19-20 while Venus quincunx Neptune bewary of getting blinded by what you want to see verses what it really is infront of you. There are dissappointment in love which lead to doubts of love. So just let go any thoughts that come up that lead to negativity. Leading up to the Full Moon we don't want to dwell on any negative thoughts especially when it revolves around love, relationships or partners as this will carry manifesting power for the whole month until the next Full Moon. 


August 20-22
 we get healing energy brought into love relationships. Finally with this Blue Moon we get our new cycle beginning which allows love to heal old wounds. We become open to romantic feelings and are now more willing to act on them. If you've been working on yourself and doing the work, then you will be really really set to act on these feelings. If you are already in a relationship its a time to make a resolution to repair, heal and improve what you already have.



August 24-25 Venus squar Pluto brings intense passions. Beware of this too! Jealousy and possessiveness are going to be extremely high during this time. Leading to a fear of loosing the partnership or relationship you have (or are starting to have). These two days avoid getting into or starting a new relationship entirely. Two days won't change anything, take two personal days. Any new relationshps started on these two days can be characterized by these energies at play and we all don't want jealous or possessive energies in our relationships. If you are in a relationship avoid confrontation and just try to coast on by with little negativity or don't let the jealous or negative feelings get the best of you.


How to Harness the Power of the Full Moon to Manifest

Moon energy is the best time to incorporate it in your manifestation process (when possible). The Waxing time is used to attract new things (experiences, people, objects, etc.) into your life. The Waning period is used to physically, emotionally or energetically clear and discard unwanted things from your life. 

During these waxing and waning time is when you reflect on the things you most want to manifest using the energy leading up or regressing from the Full Moon. So then once it comes time for the day/night of the actual Full Moon all you have to focus on is actual ritual you chose to seal the things you want to manifest in physical form. 

There's nothing specific you have to do to harness the Full Moon's powers, it is just all around you. If you are more attuned to natural energies you will be able to feel it, for others it may be subtle and for others you may not feel anything at all. It still is all around you just like the air. We get to use this energy for greater good, so no negative activities please. Just waking up and showing up the day you get to experience the Full Moon Energy.

Things to do on the Night of the Blue Full Moon
Take out the list you've been creating of all the things, events, or people you want to
manifest into you life that you've been working on during the lead up to this Full Moon. Use this to help with the below suggested activities to do on the night of the Full Moon. I personally like to sit outside under the full moon and do these, be alone in a reflective state and play some calm music. This is your time to be creative to be very specific in the things you want in your life. It's your time to communicate with the Universe and use the Law of Attraction to manifest the things you want. In everything that you do you need to feel that you already have it when participating in any activities towards manifestation.

Using this Full Moon power to send healing energy, forgiveness, pink light, white light and love to friends, family, co-workers, strangers, enemies; reiki is also powerful healing tool used during this time as well. You can also send peaceful energy to world experiences or back to Mother Earth for all her support. It gives you lots of good karma for being selfless and thinking of others during this time as well. It's a great time to do acts of kindness and get rid of any negative energy you or others might be holding on to.

*Crystals

The Leo New Moon: August 6, 2013


The Leo New Moon on August 6, 2013 is focuing on finding your authentic love. Leo's ruling planet is the sun, which is the center of the universe. Planets revolve around the sun, just as you are the center for your own life. You are what matter, you are the core, the center, you matter most here. With every day you are asked to shine your light brightly, the Sun has no off days, neither does shining your own light. Live from your heart, find waht leo's do which is shine their love/light on everyone not just who they are affectionate about.

Leo rules the fifth house of astrology, which is where we find our creativity and self-confidence. Leo's
will rule self-expression, romance, sports, and children. Even if you aren't a Leo, you can procreate a new project a buiness or hobby; finding creativity in it. This is the time to create new ideas but follow and lead with your heart. We have been working with manifesting, me for instance decided to create a new business, whatever your new project is this is you giving birth to it. This new project is your baby. You have to nurture it and let it grow at its own stage of pace. A real baby can't run before it learns how to crawl. Here too don't ask too much of your project too fast. Love and nurture it and it will reward you.

The sun is also very important in this time as leo's ruling planet is the sun. For your own birth chart look
into the Sun's positive traits for you. Allow your creativity to bloom and shine bright during this time. Leo's are known as inner children. They just enjoy their happiness. Here, we get to nourish and protect our inner child's innocence. Be open to new ideas and not be afraid of anything. Be curious about things. Allow yourself to dream big and bring magic back into your life. Hold the heart of a Leo with the adult mindset. Be your best self while not allowing other's perceptions to get in the way of your happiness.

This Leo New Moon is in trine with Uranus. Let yourself continue to make positive changes in your personal and work life. During this time you can encounter new relationships, new friends, and/or new love. All these can bring the best of you out. So embrace this time to figure out your new you the authentic true self. All this self discovery on your journey has lead you to this point in time to know who your authentic self is. If you want to change, let that happen. Remember you are pure positive energy so shine that out. Uranus supports relationships. This New Moon tells us to love who you really are. Authentic love of your true self is here. Embrace it.

Starting August 7-21 Jupiter is in Cancer forming a the Great Cardnial T-Square to Pluto and Uranus. This will lead to
major changes in those areas in our life that is most needed. With any change will come as I've said before stepping out of our comfort zone. However all this has been leading up to this change, this shift. Real growth needs change to happen. Real change is painful. This change can be different for each person. It can be literal change like moving or chaning jobs, or can be a change in your reality perception to changing a relationship or lifestyle. Whatever it is you have control over it. You get to make the decision for yourself to find the best way to give balance to your authentic self.

August 8 Mercury enters Leo which encourages
creativity. While Venus enters Libra on August 16. Venus will bring balance to relationships.  But August 24-27 when Venus will be Grand Squared by Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus it will create four squares in two oppositions. What this really means is we will need to be cautious in all our relationships during this time. It will be when we are faced with figuring out our true values and what really matters to us. So if an arguement comes up and in the grand scheme of things you realize it's not going to help you to prove you're right, then let it go for the greater good.

This New Moon we get to embrace positive changes. July 29 had some trines developing what is called the Star of David when The Grand Earth Trine and the Grand Water Trine overlay each other into a six-pointed star. This brings expanding our consciousness, awakening our new selves. During this time of expansion and rebirth it is natural for fear to come in our minds. However fear is of the ego. The ego does not serve our higher self. Fear creates pain and staying in pain stops us from moving forward. So the ego tries to keep us in its control through pain. Let go of the fear and pain to get past it. Embrace what you are feeling any change is scary but better things are waiting for you. Be open to these new exciting opportunities, new relationships, new future waiting for you. 

As I talked about before during this time figure out what no longer serves you especially in terms of relationships. What friendships, or people are not helping you get to our goal, who are distractions or just negative energy around you. Let them go. If you find a relationship which is part of your goals, does it meet your needs, you can see it positively fitting in your life path; then keep these around they will continue to support you. This is what is called a soul mate. Any person who is negative and feel like they do not support your change or understand you but you do still keep them its your ego at work and trying to keep you down into your old self. Let go of these ties or limit your communication with them until you are in a place where you can perhaps bring them back into your life.

Use this New Moon to find out who you truly are. What you want to do, what is your greater vision.
What do you want to manifest? Live with your heart and open your soul. Someone who truly understands your authentic self will be able to understand this change you are going through and perhaps you will actually be moving together and not parallel directions anymore. Take a chance and just shine the real you.

This is a time to stay positive and think of what you really want to manifest. Leading up to this full moon your thoughts, visions and dreams hold a lot of energy. If you still aren't quite there to where you want to be focus on the positive see yourself really having what you've been working towards. If you see glimpses of it in the horizen, great continue to focus on that.

The New Moon begins at 5:51pm (ET), 2:51pm (PT) a new moon marks the beginning of a new cycle.
Here the previous New Moon in Cancer ends and the New Moon in Leo begins. In manifesting you may seriously consider concentrating on new ways to enhance your romantic life, creative projects, and relationships with your children. We get to use this Leo energy to bring beneficial change in our lives during this cycle. This is literally a new beginning with the signs changing from Cancer to Leo. Manifesting energy is still strong. Building up confidence and pride here will help with our romance and creative lives. This New Moon also trines Uranus in Aries, which allows us to focus our energy on moving forward which makes our moves intuitive and spontaneous.

If you haven't done a manifestation journal, I do recommend you start one. It can be very powerful to set aside some time for you and really think and lay out what you want to accomplish. Below is an excerp from a previous article I wrote on New Moon Manifestation.

Manifesting under the New Moon
I will include steps to do a manifesting ritual under the New Moon. I did this the last New 
Moon and used Reiki. Many people have asked how I did this, and I am including it below- a regular step by step guide (not including Reiki). There are no tricks, you do have to put in the hard work to get results. I can't simply fix away manifestation tricks. You get what you put in. If anyone asks me to do it- your journey is not my journey. If you are unhappy with your life, give this a try. It won't hurt- and best case you get some of what you wrote down to manifest into your life. Not that the energy under a New Moon is powerful so if you do intend on doing this- please plan and write out your brainstorm ideas before the actual day of the New Moon- so that there are no oops into what your write on your real true manifest. Theory is that anything you think or write on the day and night of the New Moon has energy to manifest so you have to then be positive and only project what you truly want. (read the Setting your New Moon Intentions into Motion section to create your list).


New Moon manifestation rituals are created to expand the space within us and around us to where our desires, wishes, good health and well being are created and realized. Before you start this ritual its imperative that you know exactly what it is that you wish to manifest for yourself. (So create a draft first.) 

It is also recommended that your intention requests be stated as precisely as possible to ensure positive results. Any intention that is mentally focused on, voiced out loud, or written down on paper carries that power.

Preparing the supplies:
-You will need: a notebook, a pen, cedar incense.
-Prepare a clean and uncluttered sacred space, indoors or outdoors, where you will hold your New   Moon ritual.

Setting your New Moon Intentions into Motion
1. Cleanse your sacred area by saying an opening prayer to cleanse stating that intention.
2. Clear away negative lingering energies with safe incense. 
3. Center and ground your body by whatever means is most appropriate for you:
    -Sit in a quiet place and mediate
    -Light a lavender scented candle
    -Drink a cup of chamomile or mint tea
    -Before or during the ritual, intently ingest a blend of flower essences that offer grounding and         manifestation properties.
4. Open your notebook and date it. Write down these (or similar words):

Inspiration: Self Discovery ... your journey


Some things have been on my mind, as many of us are on our own self discovery journeys. For whatever has brought to you this place. It's a time of change and discovery. However I have started to notice some patterns that have emerged. I wanted to sort of bring my prospective to some things that have worked for me and perhaps they will work for you.

One thing society is very set focused on is fitting in this tiny neat box. After a while we get caught up in wanting to fit into it because its all around us. However in trying to get ahead in a job or get to a certain
social status we loose ourselves. If we are in a relationship we get caught up in the things that don't matter like what to cook for dinner, why won't they commit to marriage yet or daily things that just put stress onto it. Life is organic it's meant to move and not be stagnet this too goes for plans. Nothing about us should be rigid. Just because you had a dream when you were 18 and started a job in your 20s, it may not fit with your goals anymore. It's ok to (maybe seem totally crazy to your family and friends) to want to quit this secure great job just to seek something else that you are not getting out of the career you have now. Fueling your soul and giving your imagination something to expand upon is important too. If you were successful in this job you will be with the next project you get into.

Often times when we are imbetween one relationship or imbetween one life shift we get depressed or sad thinking of what we lost. Instead, we should embrace this time to really take time out of the
craziness and just breathe to learn who is this person I look at in the mirror every day? What makes him/her tick? What does he/she want most out of life? Forget about preconceived notions and what other people think of you. This is the time to let go of all negativity in your life. Realize further what no longer serves you. I like to take a huge life shift as an opportunity to change and an excuse rather to take a deep look at yourself and your life. Why did it go bad? Why did it end? What is different now than it was before? It may be very subtle, you might not be aware of anything. Something however brought you to this point. Embrace it and make this worth your while. It is your time to self discover who you are. This journey is your own not any one elses. So stop trying to impress anyone but yourself here. This is your life at the end of your journey you want to smile at all that you have done with your last breath.

Many times the hardest things are saying goodbye to ideals and even people in our lives. Some people are only meant to stay with us for a short amount of time. As we shift and change our relationships also
shift. Friends are often in this category. Not all friends evolve and change with us. It's ok to let go of those that no longer serve us. During this time look into why are you truly friends with a person. If they seem to take and take from you and don't really offer or bring much into the friendship what is the true purpose here? Every person can make up their minds of why they have a friendship alive in their life. However, there are toxic relationships that really only drain our energy. Those people who are so willing to take from you, desperately needing advice from you at any hour of the day or night. However when it comes to them doing anything out of the way for you, they seem to always have a convient excuse on why they can't follow through with it. Be mindful of
these, at the time they may have helped make you feel useful and have a purpose at a time you were down. But is it really helping you now? As you evolve in your jouney certain people may never change. During this time take into account how these people make you feel, who is draining your energy or bringing negativity into your life. Turn off your senses to these so that you don't take in their negativity. Especially if you want to keep them in some capacity in your life or let them go completely. A true friend will understand that you need time for your own self healing and will be back when you are ready. Some of the best friends, you may not talk to for years and then for some reason you start talking again and it's like no time has passed.

As you learn more about what makes you tick, who this new you is transforming into. Also look at how you react and how you introduce yourself to new people. This is the time when you can leave the negative. This is your self journey. You get to chose who you want in it. Make it your own. Include people who are positive and happy and loving life. Why bring drama into your life? Unless it's good drama. Leave the past in the past. You get to choose what these new people get to know about you. It's not a sense of hiding or concealing but past lives can stay in the past. It can be a challenge to go on this self changing journey and when you do meet or run into people from your past or who know of your past, they may not be aware of your mind shift. These cases you can politely say you have moved on from it, its in the past and respect not bringing it up. It's not rude or anything, these people may geunuinely just be catching up and that was the last thing they rememebered about you. The best thing anyone ever told me, was refering to these things as just a past life. It can sound a little cooky but it does mean we all can in one lifetime have many past lives as we change and evolve into different versions of ourselves.

Embrace who you are. Many times you either are going to embrace who you are and be "this is who I am" you can either deal with it or leave. Or you can be more timid and conceal parts of yourself until you ease into it to not "shock" new people. Both are different approaches. But think to yourself why do you feel the need to keep parts of you under a blanket? So to speak. Why not be fully who you are from the start? If you are approaching a new place, for me I like to just be me. Sure I like to dress a certain way, before going I do think ok maybe I should cover up more, because I might offend or get weird looks. This still crosses my mind when I go to someplace new. But the shift happened where I do acknowledge I still have these old thoughts. The old me would listen to this voice, and go change into something more appealing to what I think would please. Now, I have come to realize I am me. I am unique and who I am. I shouldn't hide any part of me (unless I really want to) but it doesn't serve a purpose I am who I am. What do I care what a stranger thinks of me? Even more importantly what do I care what a friend thinks of me? I'm not trying to impress anyone anymore, just doing what makes me happy. I am the only one who matters. Sure if somone likes how I look or act, that's a bonus! So the next time you are going to some place new, try this if you aren't doing it already; just be you. Do you.

We all have things that are quirks, I no longer see them as negative. If you do get a negative comment on you, just smile and give that person some extra love vibes, don't let it get to you at all. It's just one insignificant thing. Be confident be this new you. I'm loving learning new things about me every day. It is about being grateful for each and every thing in your life. Good things come there are times when it rains and in those times it washes away what no longer serves us. Don't try to get out of the icky parts but breath and know that it will pass like clouds but you have to learn to be ok in each stage of this. The good parts will come back again. If you are just now starting to see a rainbow be happy. Take it slow, all your hard work will pay off! Good things come to those who breathe, sit in stillness, have patience, just show up to your life every day. It's as simple as breathing. It just naturally comes. Do the hard work, do you (which really isn't that hard at all) and the thing which you have asked the universe for ... it will come naturally when you let go ... and don't push or try hard for it, the universe has heard your call, your wish, your desire, your dream. Let it go and have faith and trust that when the time it will come, just like your next breath. So in the mean time practice some self love. =)

August: Follow Through!

As we have been working with manifesting these past months and figuring out what it is we wantin our life. Now is the time to finally follow through on all that
planning! This month we get to take all the magic from July and put it into what you really want and have committed to. The real discipline comes because now we have to pay attention to the details to finish what you start. Along with sorting and fine tuning all those details. It may be tedious but you need to keep perservering through it and fight any and all distractions. Afterall, it can be fun when you get to see the progress from the seed planting to all the fruits you receive from your inspiration. Here, all your dreams and initations set in motion before need to be followed through during this month. Even if July was blurry you still need to understand everyone was affected by the expansive energy and a bit of settling time may be needed. However, August this settling allows you to get support for your follow through. Here, you get to participate in your life and enjoy all the organizing from this grounded energy all around. 

Here, be observant of all tendencies to procrastinate, look into yourself and what fears come up. You committed and started this process why are these fears coming up as you start to follow through. What does that mean to you? If
you tend to have commitment issues, this month may be a challenge; however be aware of them and fight along to the finish line. Resist and change to no longer have commitment issues. Ask for help from others if you need it. This is the time to be proactive in your life. Follow through with something requires taking responsibility (to create it, see it,  and follow it to the end) that can be scary for anyone. Embrace the unknown wherever this takes you. You may learn patience, trust, acceptance, and how to manage your energy during this time. Harness the grounded energy to focus on tasks at hand, but if you misuse this energy it can turn into conflict, distress, irritation and explosive anger. Avoid getting upset at someone else instead use it on your project instead. Don't take thing personally it will save your sanity. Try to avoid conflicts and argumentative situations. Since we are all exposed to the influence of expansive energy others may be reacting as well. Just try to keep your mind in a positive place. 

If during this time you realize you don't have all the knowledge needed for your follow through, don't be afraid to ask for support or research. The balance
is needed between feminine receptive qualities and the action oriented and organized masculine qualities. Both these are needed for the balance and work to be accomplished. Choices and decisions will come into play from last month so it will present itself this month as making adjustments. If you find change is needed and adjustments to make it work, allow for it to happen, nothing is set in stone. Movement is a good thing. You need to be aware of when you take on too much this month. A scattered out of control feeling may come to you this month but you need to not micromanage and use your discipline and action plan to stay focused. Set priorities if you get overwhelmed. Find what is most important to you.
During this important time, with all the manifesting energies we've done
in previous months, now is the time for it to come. However, don't get stuck or attached to how these things should manifest. Instead allow them to flow in ways and timing as the universe will have them be. For the greater good of all involved. Things may happen and you have to be open to receive them in any and all forms. 


Opportunities this month:
-See the manifestation of something that started out as just as dream
-Be greatly satisfied by your own discipline and focus
-Develop great habits around being organized and committed
-To feel positive about what you can accomplish when you put your mind, body and soul into something.
-Finally feel support in ways you've not yet felt before
Challenges for this month: -Fears
-Failing or not being good enough

-Poor energy management
-Ungrounded
-Swayed by others intentions and dreams for you
-Having resistance
Relationships
This month some relationships will need the follow through approach of what has already been started and put into motion. While other relationships will

need fine tuning to make them work better. Other relationships will need to be healed and others will just need to end. This month will require more energy, focus and commitment put into these relationships to figure out what category they fit into. With a strong tendency this month for irritation and conflict; it could be a challenge for those relationships with not great communication. Resist the need to be right and win an argument, if its not going anywhere let go of that argument; if it won't serve you in the long run. Pick your battles this month. August can lead to great drama, crimes of passion and explosive fights so be aware of your emotions with others. On the positive side, if you have great connection and communication you can also find greater levels of commitment and willingness to work things out like never before. August is a great month to work on your relationship with yourself relating to disciple and follow through in areas of self-care and self-love. 
Health
During this month with all the pent up energy all around its good to

keep moving. Release all that energy by getting out and working out or just moving around. The discipline of self-care is important so start taking responsible steps towards decisions to improve your body. Self-love starts with caring for your physical self. Be gentle with yourself don't over work but be mindful and aware of where you are. Learn what your body is capable of and what it deserves and you will see the benefits.

The first week of August brings a time of focus, sorting, organizing and bringing

about the energy from July to do something practical and manageable. If there has been a neglected task, (like cleaning your house, laundry, gardening, or organizing) get physical and just take this on. You first need your physical environment to be in order before you can start to organize other parts of your life. Take note of your to-do list and start sorting what you need to follow through with and prioritize those tasks. Don't be afraid to say no to distractions that come up instead be disciplined to stay on course.
